Attorney, Barbara Erlandson has been practicing exclusively in the area of immigration law since 1999. She speaks English and Spanish.
Barbara graduated with honors from the William Mitchell College of Law (now, Mitchell Hamline School of Law) in St. Paul, Minnesota. During law school, Barbara worked as an intern at the Immigration Court in Minnesota. She also worked as a law clerk at Centro Legal in St. Paul, MN and at a law firm in Minneapolis, MN.
She received degrees in Management and Spanish from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. She studied in Madrid, Spain during her junior year of college.
Prior to attending law school, Barbara worked as a Desk Officer and Desk Assistant at the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, D.C. for five years. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica for two years.
In addition to living in Spain and Costa Rica, Barbara has traveled to Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Portugal.
